# HeatmapRangeColorProvider.GetColor method

Returns a color interpolated between the two range stops that surround the specified value.

## Parameters

| name | type | description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| value | `double` | The value displayed by the cell. |
| range | `IMinMaxValues` | The range of the values displayed by the heatmap. |

## Returns

| type | description |
| --- | --- |
| `Color` | The color of the cell. Values below the first range stop take the color of that stop, and values at or above the last range stop take the color of that stop. |
